Refund Policy

We want this to be simple and fair.

Before we file

If you cancel before we submit your filing to CSLB, you get a refund of everything you paid, minus the card processing fee described below. Email us with your order number.

If we make a mistake

If a filing is returned because of an error on our part, we fix and resubmit it at no cost. If it cannot be fixed, we refund our service fee.

After a filing is submitted

Once a filing is submitted to CSLB, our service fee is earned and is not refundable. CSLB fees are paid to CSLB and are subject to CSLB's rules; CSLB application fees are generally nonrefundable. If CSLB refunds a fee to us, we pass it back to you.

If CSLB returns or denies an application

A returned application is not a refund event: we work the corrections with you within CSLB's 90-day window at no extra service fee. A waiver that CSLB denies continues on the exam path; our fee is not refunded because the application was prepared and submitted.

If we cannot complete your order

If we cannot complete an order for reasons on our side, or we find before filing that the filing you ordered cannot fix your situation, we refund in full.

Card processing fee

If you cancel after paying, we refund what you paid minus the card processing fee on that payment (about 3%, kept by our payment processor). If we cannot complete your order for a reason on our side, we refund the full amount.

How to request a refund

Email support@gcfilings.com with your order number. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
